Why Clarben Makes a Difference

About the Product

Octocaine® is the line of injectable anesthetics based on Lidocaine from Laboratorios Clarben, delivering fast, effective anesthesia in the dental office. It is part of the Clarben injectable anesthetic range, manufactured with terminal sterilization to ensure product sterility with maximum reliability.

Two epinephrine concentrations, one brand

Octocaine® comes in two epinephrine (adrenaline) concentrations, so each practitioner can choose the most suitable one for each clinical situation:

  • Octocaine® 1:100,000 (0.01 mg/ml epinephrine), indicated for most restorative and surgical procedures.
  • Octocaine® 1:50,000 (0.02 mg/ml epinephrine), designed for situations requiring significant hemostasis.

Terminal sterilization and latex-free

All Clarben injectable anesthetics are manufactured with terminal sterilization, the process recommended by the European Medicines Agency for sterile products, as it achieves a greater reduction in pyrogens than aseptic filling. Their glass cartridges are free of latex and methylparaben (removed from the entire Clarben range as early as 1984), reducing the risk of allergic reactions.

  • Latex-free
  • Rapid anesthesia
  • Terminal sterilization
