Octocanal® is the calcium hydroxide paste from Laboratorios Clarben, a radiopaque antibacterial intracanal dressing indicated for temporary canal filling during endodontic treatment.
Indications
- Temporary canal obturation.
- Apexification and formation of other hard tissues.
- Direct and indirect pulp treatments.
- Periapical lesions and abscesses.
- Internal and external root resorption.
- Traumatic injuries, root fractures and perforations.
Presentation
3 ml screw-type syringe with plunger for accurate dosing, together with 12 disposable 25-gauge x 0.4 mm tips with 2 side irrigation outlets.
Applications
Root canal treatment during endodontic therapy, including apexification and formation of other hard tissues; temporary canal filling; direct and indirect pulp treatments; periapical lesions and abscesses, internal and external root resorption, traumatic injuries, root fractures and perforations.

pH above 12; plunger for accurate dosing; sterile disposable 22- and 25-gauge needles; dosing needle with 2 side outlets.

Instructions for Use
Attach a disposable tip to the syringe. Apply a small amount of product to the affected area (the tip can be bent for easier access). Fill the canal completely while withdrawing the tip. Allow to dry before restoration; any residue can be easily removed with a file and irrigation.
Required Information
Class IIa Medical Device. Cap the syringe immediately after use to prevent the product from drying out; do not use in patients with a history of severe allergic reaction to its components; avoid prolonged contact with skin and eyes; keep out of the reach of children.
