Why Clarben Makes a Difference

About the Product

Octolight® Flow is the light-cured, nanohybrid flowable composite for universal restorations from Laboratorios Clarben.

Indications

  • Restoration of Class III, IV and V cavities.
  • Restoration of superficial root caries and cervical lesions.
  • Pit and fissure sealing.
  • Direct Class I and II restorations.
  • Cavity bases and liners.

Clinical performance

It flows only during application thanks to optimal thixotropy, providing self-leveling properties that keep the product from running in the cavity. Available in shades A1, A2, A3 and A3.5, in 2 g syringes.

  • Flowable composite
  • Radiopaque
  • Thixotropic

Applications

Radiopaque nanohybrid flowable composite for Class III, IV and V restorations; superficial root caries; pit and fissure sealing; direct Class I and II restorations.

Technical Specifications

Light-cured nanohybrid flowable composite with an organic matrix of Bis-GMA, UDMA, Bis-EMA and TEGDMA resins and 77.5% inorganic filler (silica and barium glass). Class IIa Medical Device. Available in shades A1, A2, A3 and A3.5, in a syringe.

Benefits

Keeps the product from running in the cavity; excellent polishability; low polymerization shrinkage; high radiopacity; excellent biocompatibility.

Instructions for Use

Prepare the cavity and clean the surface with prophylaxis paste (line with calcium hydroxide and glass ionomer in very deep cavities). Etch with Octacid for 15 seconds, rinse, dry and apply Octobond LC. Remove the luer cap from the syringe, attach the dispensing tip and check the flow. Apply the composite in layers no thicker than 3 mm and light-cure each layer for 20-30 seconds.

Required Information

Class IIa Medical Device. Contains methacrylates, which may cause allergy and skin, eye and respiratory irritation; do not use in patients allergic to its components; do not use with eugenol-based materials; for professional use only; store between 4 °C and 28 °C, protected from light; keep out of the reach of children.
