Pharmacovigilance

Pharmacovigilance is a public health activity whose purpose is the detection, assessment, and prevention of the risks associated with the use of a medicine. Reporting adverse effects by patients and healthcare professionals helps increase knowledge about medicines and makes it possible to take measures to minimize risks, making their use safer.
